When trees produce excessive sap, or their leaves change to a strange color, they are often trying to tell us something.

Signs of abnormal stress in your tree: Excessive sap either at the base or throughout your tree, Leaves have changed to an odd color, Limbs may be dying back from the tip, Bark is falling off certain parts of the tree, Small new limbs or “water sprouts” have recently started growing out of the base or excessively throughout the tree.
